I have two Policies. One for Objects and Custom Content, another for Sims. Both are very simple and I'd very much appreciate each and everyone who downloads my sims and custom content, read and follow these two policies.

Custom Content Policy: No Exchange, No Paysites, No Claiming as your own. Simple, yea?

Sim Policy: No Claiming as your own, No Exchange, Feel Free to modify genetics to your liking. I love to see pictures ;)

Because I spend most of time at the GOS Chat, and they mean so much to me, as a part of E-Christmas in July- a concoction by FleurduSang :P , I felt it necessary to give back to you crazy geese. I've Walked Down This Road Before...

Well, i've reinstalled Sims and was beginning to build the new legacy house *which is better, but i'm having some decision issues* .

But.

Yes, a big but is in my face.

I'm running into issues with BodyShop. with crashing. I've tried everything. 50/50ing, Removing Downlods altogether, even downloading the AnyGame starter and going from there. it kept crashing. So...

I've decided to re-reinstall Sims. I'm in the process of backing up my Sims 2 folder. We'll see if this helps at all. if not, well we're fucked then aren't we ;D.

So i'll get back to you on this issue once I've reinstalled. Again.

did I mention i'm a curse to technology?

A Longer Hiatus than I Thought.

I am currently taking a long break from sims 2. I've finished reinstalling it, and yet haven't gotten around to building the new legacy house because of constant crashing. I'm fairly frustrated with trying to figure out what is wrong, from deleting hacks, to deleting other things. I'm annoyed and thus taking a break to cool down. I apologize for this shit that's going on, but it was eventually going to happen.

Legacy Hiatus

Hey all, I just want to let you guys know that I will be on a bit of a legacy/sims hiatus for a while. I've been encountering major problems whilst playing sims for the past few months, and I've decided after much consideration (and egging from Fleurdusang :P) to reinstall my Sims game.

Now, let me tell you this, no, my legacy isn't ka-put, i'm just going to be spending a while on uninstalling and reinstalling my game.

"Why is that going to put you on hiatus for a while?" Well, it's because even when I reinstall my game, I'm moving the main family out of the house, and will begin demolition of the main house. I have new plans already drawn (i did those last night whilst watching my sister play Super Paper Mario on Wii lol), and I'm looking forward to it.

So, just a heads up, no recent legacy updates, but i do have a update all set to post, i just haven't posted them yet.

Flicker: Prologue & Chapter One

Her cries were deafening, and the absolute terror in her eyes reflected into mine. She pleaded for help as I sat there in silence, watching my family’s faces—untouched by the murderous pleas of mercy coming from the upstairs hall.
As I stared back at what I’d done—at the finished painting before me—my only fear became realized.

Chapter One

A crack of thunder that followed a bright flash of lightning woke me up. I lay on my stomach as I observed the scene outside. From what I saw—only getting in peeks when the lightning brightened the landscape as if it were day—tree branches and massive puddles of water covered the ground, and I listened to the silence concealed inside the house. I sighed and closed my eyes, trying to focus on the rain, and not the rumbles and flashes. I eventually drifted back to sleep, only to wake soon after—I checked my clock once I woke again, only seeing that ten minutes had passed—and rose from my bed, swinging my legs over the side, and slipping my feet into cheap slippers. The wooden floor was never smoothed over—my father never bothered, not seeing it as important—and therefore left splinters available to be stepped on. I walked across my room, using the light of the lightning to find my way to my closet door. I turned the handle and walked into the closet, closing the door behind me. It wasn’t dark for long, as I pull the chain for the light, and watched it slowly flicker to life. I walked around my big dresser, headed for the ladder in the corner of my closet, and headed up to my hidden sanctuary.
The loft was dark, dimly lit through the wide window facing over our private drive. I grabbed another cord, pulling it towards me to light the room. My canvas was in the corner, accompanied by a small piano stool in front of it. I took a deep breath as I walked towards my canvas—my release into a forgotten reality—and sat down on the stool, facing the blank canvas before me. I stared at the orange tint reflected from the dust-covered light bulb as I waited for inspiration to come to me. After a few brief moments, I picked up the brush and covered it in paint. I began to paint with dark, cool colors, mostly deep blues, grays and purples, every now and then switching to a deep, rusty red, each stroke of the brush inching me closer to my visions. This painting was of a young girl, probably my age, nothing more than sixteen, being afraid of something—I hadn’t painted that far yet. She was propped up on a dull, worn piano, and the utter terror in her eyes was alive. They always were in my paintings, as if each feature was somehow realized in another life. That has always been my drive, my muse, to bring these stories to life. I was so into this painting that I never heard my mother call for me until her loud knocking on my closet door startled me.
“Cary? Love, it’s time to come down and get ready for school.” I bit the tip of my brush handle in annoyance—I never liked leaving a painting unfinished—and stood up, stretching my legs and arms. I looked outside and to my surprise it really was lighter out, the overcast of the thunderstorm had lifted, and was now the time to begin my day once more.
I climbed down the ladder and opened my closet door, to find my mother sitting on the old chair in the corner, looking at a small painting of mine. I walked over to her, leaning up against my bookshelf. She looked sad in a way, her smooth blond curls shadowing her sharp features. I swallowed my reluctance to speak personally and opened my mouth to speak.
“What’s the matter?” She looked up at me with her bright green eyes and inhaled sharply, as if to clear her sinuses.
“Nothing. It’s just that you are so talented, my dear,” she laughed a little, “I’m jealous.” She smiled and I forced myself to return a watered-down version of it. She sighed and stood up, handing me the painting of a bouquet of Cala Lilies—my first painting—and walked past me, across the room, and out the door, closing it behind her. I looked at the painting with a critical eye, noticing the flaws where I became distracted and messed up. I sighed and looked after the door, putting the painting on top of the bookshelf.
I went in my closet and picked out a pair of khaki-colored pants and a long-sleeved, button-up shirt. I went into the bathroom after I got dressed and grabbed a hairbrush, combing down any fly-a-ways, placing them back into place. I turned for the door but stopped mid-step, and turned back to the mirror. I looked at myself in what seemed like perpetual disgust. My dark brown, almost black hair was messy, but put together the best I could, my green eyes, rimmed with brown stared back at me as if asking what the hell am I doing here. I stepped back and headed back to my bedroom and changed my pants into something more comfortable—specially washed blue jeans. I slung my bag over my shoulder and went down the spiral staircase that lead to our rather filled out storage room. I walked across the large room, stepping over boxes and walking around covered furniture from previous furniture sets, slowly making my way towards the door. My mother left the door open for me—I suppose she meant it as a good gesture—and I had to grab the handle as support as I tripped over an old rocking chair leg. I walked down the hall, passed the main bathroom, the master bedroom, and the study doors. I entered our large and slightly disproportioned dining room, and stopped. Looking around, I felt an odd feeling weighing down on my chest, an uneasy feeling that caused the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. I felt this way whenever I thought of stopping and staring in this room. I shook the feeling of being watched off and walked out the door, stopping in the kitchen to grab an apple on the way out. I walked onto the dirt path leading to the car, gazing up at the gray morning sky, running angles through my head and memorizing the colors if I decided to use this as a backdrop for one of my paintings.
The simple scenery never ceased to amaze me, no matter how many times I walked the same route to the bus stop. Though it was only a quarter of a mile away from the house, my mother knew me well enough to know that I need to wake up earlier in order to be on time for when the bus arrives because she knows that I take my “sweet” time when it involves nature, being what I am. Many people call me an artist—a gifted boy—but I always refer to myself as a simple painter, if that. The quiet chirping of the robins and the mournful cooing of the mourning doves filled the air as I continued to walk slowly to the bus stop’s sign, now in view. One other person was standing at the stop, he was more like leaning against the dirty, rusty pole, but I knew he never liked being about this early. His name was Joseph—a very good friend of mine. Others would say we were best friends, but I’ve never liked the loyalty hidden in the phrase. Trust isn’t one of my strong points and it never has been. People usually steer clear of me unless it’s to commend me on a job well done, as if I care whether they like it or not. I paint as a release, not a job. It’s my mother who plasters my works on every wall in the art galleries of town. Of course my father, on the other hand wishes I would fulfill my life more than stay cooped up in a stuffy old loft above my room, trying to—as he would put it—“create a new reality for myself when things just weren’t going my way”.
My father and I never truly saw eye to eye. There was always this certain tension between the two of us—something that has always drew a line down the center of our so-called “bond”. I’ve learned to never look him in the eye as I grew. Something I’ve always known, and something I’ve always lived by. Molan Sullivan is a very serious man, but a very intelligent one as well. His occupation is a writer, and works mostly from home, in the comforts behind his desk in the study. My mother, Faye and I rarely saw him, except when we ate dinner together, and in the picture frames covering nearly every wall in every room that seemed suitable. My mother was the near opposite of him, being full of light, and wanting nothing but the purest and finest for her two loves—my father and I. She understandably saw him more than I did, though I was perfectly fine with those circumstances.
I met up with Joseph, stepping over and around puddles periodically. He wore his hat down over his face—no doubt in my mind he was sleeping—and his body looked as if it were in danger of falling off the pole completely. I raised one eyebrow as I approached him, lifting up a small wisp of his hair that hung over his ear and put my lips near his ear.
“Boo.” I dropped his hair and stepped back as I watched in silent amusement as he jumped out of his skin, making snorting noises and rocking back and forth—his eyes rolling around every way. After a few more seconds of him looking around in shock, he stopped and looked at me. His eyes were still partially closed but his eyebrows scrunched together slightly. He pointed a drooping finger at me.
“Do-don’t do that. It’s not funny.” He cleared his throat as he attempted to open his eyes all the way. I spoke indifferently with no emotion written on my face as I could tell.
“I thought so.”
“Yea, it’s written all over your face.” He tipped his hat up so he could let more light in. A slight fog was settling on the ground around us, enabling only a few yards of visibility. The scent in the air was musty—a standard of spring scents. I allowed myself to be engulfed in my surroundings, and stood in my place unmoving, allowing the colors, scenes, and smells to overwhelm me.
I was snapped out of my trance when Joseph shook my shoulder, motioning me to the bus as it pulled up to the curb. I glared after him—not particularly enjoying the interruption of my reflection. I turned to walk beside the bus—glancing up into the foggy windows at the small holes—from where my peers wiped out in order to see—and into the eyes of younger girls glancing back at me, then turning to giggle. I rolled my eyes as I turned into the doorway of the bus and swung around to sit in the front seat—where I usually sat—not bothering to look back at the rest of the passengers—especially not the rest of the passengers.
We arrived at the high school and I walked my normal pace with Joseph—not very fast—as he held a one-sided conversation about the different possibilities of angles you could reach with a different camera. Joseph was an avant-garde photographer—to say the least. His ideas were as twisted as my paintings and we fed off each other’s imagination when we joined our creative talents together. We had nearly every class together, mostly art-based classes, and even then the teachers caught on fast enough to know that we will always work together on projects.
As we walked to our first class, I glanced into the eyes of every individual, trying to recognize them—trying to see if they were glaring at me. I’ve always been that way, Joseph was the first to point it out—that was the way we first met—I was shifting my eyes back and forth and he was the one I made eye contact with. He had come up to me in the lunchroom—I was sitting in the corner table alone—and sat down across from me, interrupting my eyes glancing at every person who made a move.
‘Have you always watched people like this?’ He’d said. I’d looked at him like he was crazy, and he’d given me the same look—though his was a little more justified.
‘Yes.’
‘Fair enough.’ Then he had begun to eat his sandwich. I forgot everyone else in the room and I stared at him like he was the crazy one and not me for once. For the first time I enjoyed a change.
I continued to look in the eyes of every person I could. The majority of the student population had blue eyes, and some had brown. I rarely saw green eyes and even fewer had eyes that were abnormally colored. Joseph had dark eyes, mostly brown with specks of dark blue in them. I believe he’s the only other person who had eyes that were interesting to look at. They were sharp yet everyone seemed to like him. The only time I’d ever seen him with someone else is when I’m not around. Which is often.
Though we were close, Joseph and I rarely saw each other outside of school. He had a life and preferred not to. I often saw him outside of school with several people swarming around him, camera in hand, begging him to use them as his models—models that were forced to pose in such unnatural and twisted—corrupted even—positions. He was usually out around dusk or cloudy overcast days, using the foreboding atmosphere to his advantage while shooting his pictures. Though I never waved hello to him or called out a greeting while he was having a session, we always seemed to end up making eye contact, then exchanging simple, subtle nods. I’d always seem to catch a glimpse of the swarms of people staring at me after I looked over, all of their eyes judging me—like every step I took, every movement I made was crucial to their worlds— like if I made one sudden movement towards them their worlds would crumble.
We had finally made it to the first classroom when a large boy stepped in front of us, blocking our way into the room. He glared down at Joseph and me, as if about to ask a question. Joseph opened his mouth before the kid had the chance.
“May we help you?” The boy glared down at Joseph, obviously annoyed at something invisible, but did not respond. Joseph tried again.
“I don’t mean to be rude, but your rather large body is blocking our entrance. Please be a helpful lad and move.”
I looked away to my right, towards crowds of people staring— waiting— for something to happen. I sighed and looked back toward the scene. The big boy turned his attention to me, seeing as he knew I wouldn’t put up any sort of fight whatsoever. He took his index finger and stuck the plump digit in my face. My insides jumped.
“What are you looking at?” I looked up at his bulbous nose behind his finger and took a deep breath. He pokes my shoulder and mumbled some blather that remained unimportant. I grabbed the hair on the back of his head and threw him against a near locker. Joseph was shouting something or warning and I caught the look of fear in my peers’ eyes. Their fear became my fuel as I felt every bone, muscle and tendon in my body rush with adrenaline. I snarled and hurled my fist at the bumbling baboon and ignored the grabbing hands around me--trying to get me off. I took his face by one hand and smashed his head repetitively into the locker door until I saw the ruby color appear where his life used to be. Joseph pulled me off and rushed me away from everyone.
I snapped out of my twisted fantasy when the boy poked me again. Joseph noticed the wild look in my eyes and pushed me out of the doorway, leading me to the nearest room.
“You need to stop those visions from happening, Cary. As much as they fascinate me, my only fear is that someday they won’t be mere visions. Watch yourself, Sullivan. Just. Watch it.” He patted my back and left me alone to gather myself and control my thoughts. I knew he was right. These visions of terror and torment which ended in bloodlust were blurring the lines of reality.
I walked out of the room and glanced at the curious faces still watching to see my next move. The boy was still standing in the door way, looming over Joseph. I’d had enough. I walked over to the doorway again and shoved the tormentor aside, making my way to my seat and sitting down. He rushed in expecting to force his fists upon me, and I looked at him with all of the hate it my veins. He stopped mid-step and walked out. I sensed his fear. I lived off of it.
Joseph walked in after watching the boy cower away. He turned toward me and cautiously sat down in the seat next to me. The bell tolled and I slowly slipped into the mundane schedule of the school day: Avoiding eye contact with my small town peers, blocking out the visions that haunted my head, keeping a distance from anyone. This was my life.

I'm sick. I'm achy, I have the shivers, I have a temp of 100.3. The best part? I have to write an essay for tuesday and pull together a "journal" of a ten-fourteen day hike down to Bethlehem, Connecticut. By Monday.

i've begun looking for colleges, my mother is pushing me to look for colleges, to get driver's ed together, to register for the SATs and help her clean.

I smell like cheese and it hurts to move my eyes back and forth. Sims 2 keeps crashing and my sister keeps wanting to play sims 3.

I just want to make it through four more days and then I can be as sick as i want.

Good news? I've become closer to a few people, maybe just two, and it's nice to joke around and watch one get plus one nipple everyday. Too bad he's taken. Oh well.

Hell week this week. I'm getting really stressed. I don't know if i'm going to have anymore legacy updates. I just can't seem to have any luck getting them up in time before I have to do another one. Sure, I may do one over the summer, but between then, highly unlikely.
i'll still post some spam of my Byrnesnow and again, but having a whole update on things that don't really matter, I don't know. Hope you understand.

Sorry for the complete lack of update last week. Stuff has been happening, experiments have been failing and drama has been unveiling. But here's the new installment of The Byrne Legacy. A very small one, but just to catch everyone up a bit. So Let's just call this the First Mini Update.

Upon return, and after she got her brother out of their as soon as possible, Faolan meets a new friend.

They become fast friends and one thing led to another, and..

We've got ourselves a werewolf.

While all of this is happening:

& Eveleen is loosing to Trina in a game of rock, paper, scissors.

Crooner however, does NOT like the idea of a werewolf in the house.

Nor does he like being cuddled, even if it is by a cute little girl.

Just to keep you in the know, Trina and Cian are still active lovers
